Fresh Start for Newbies
ICG wore a festive look as it geared up to welcome the new batch of freshers. The seniors presented a kaleidoscopic show of dance and music and danced to the tunes of latest bollywood chart busters.
The highlight of the event was the Ms. Fresher Contest, which was organized in various phases and was adjudged by a panel of judges that included Ms. Saloni Gotewala, Jewellery Designer and ICG Alumna, Ms. Deepika Kaurani, Head, Dept. of Foreign Trade Management and Ms. Girija Kaviraj, Head, Dept. of Public Administration, The IIS University, Jaipur.
Dr. Ashok Gupta, Vice Chancellor, IIS University appreciated the talent and the creativity of the students and motivated them by his inspirational speech. The freshers appreciated and enjoyed the fun filled evening.
Preksha Jain of BJMC Sem. I was crowned Ms. Fresher (UG), Shiromi Chaturvedi of B.Sc. (Hons.) Sem. I was the First Runner up whereas Iha Magazine was the second Runner up.
Apoorva Sharma of M.A. English bagged the title of Ms. Fresher (PG) 2013, Shruti Misra of MFT was the first Runner up and Preet Kamal Kaur of M.A English was the Second Runner up.
Payal Soni of MFT bagged the title of ‘Bewitching Beauty’.
